I'm Kunal from Chennai sitting in front of this computer doing a software engineers job among a million other professionals waiting to take my place.

And here I am signing myself up for the Chief RCB fan for the champions League T20 almost endlessly waiting for team RCB to show what old foxes in catchy uniforms can do. The Problem: I'm forced to compete with a billion other Indians who would be pledging for an opportunity to share the team bus with Rahul Dravid.

Cricket is the only thing that I do with passion. It's only in the last few months I have realized that this is my dream and this is what I need to be known for, CRICKET. Be it the boring Bangladesh Vs Zimbabwe match or the Exciting India vs Pakistan final, I'm there. Watching it on television or jumping in the stands! This contest presents me with an opportunity to show my passion for cricket and if given the chance, I'm sure the world will see.

Blogging comes to me naturally. I hate books and have never read a novel completely till date. For that matter never read a class note book fully till date. Thanks to a friend of mine, I was introduced to the world of blogging, and from then on My blog: Personal blog - http://kunaljanusport.wordpress.com/ has 150 posts with almost 60k Page hits and over 30 registered readers. Come season II of IPL I decided to take the passion for cricket a step ahead, created a sport blog: Sports Blog - http://kunaljanusport.wordpress.com/ with an intention of connecting with like minded fans. It wasn't the biggest of the blogs, but it was good. I'm personally proud of the way each entry turned out to be. Received accolades from a lot of people of how professionally it was written, though i thought it needed to be better.

Why am I talking about a blog on a Cheif RCB fan application? I love blogging just like Cricket and I think I can make it as a Chief Blogger too, So this one is for the panel to decide, If they choose me, what is it going to be? As a Fan or as a Blogger?

What if I am not selected? If not for selection, I hope I'm able to gain some readers from here to continue the passion for cricket. This is of course the best opportunity that has come to me till date, if I make it, Wow!

I wouldn't say I'm the best of the photographers, but the flickr photos you see are taken all by me using only a 2MP mobile camera! Vote for me guys!

The only reason i'm talking about everything is that I don't want to let this opportunity go into the dark.

The team had been my personal favorite through out IPL season 1 and 2. I belong to Chennai but the heart goes with RCB, mostly because it employs India's most favorite cricketers in Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble. Men who were discarded of the Indian team for their fitness and their non adaptability to the shorter game.

Another fact that takes me away from the other teams is the attitude the young players have, Dhoni is a street smart cricketer, When the run rate is good, he comes at no. 3 otherwise backs out. I hated this and so the CSK. I hate the Punjab team because of Yuvraj's attitude, even with Sangakkara he didn't care take the advice. Hated Mumbai team because of Harbhajan. There are just so many people I don't like to see.

It was sad to see the team lose in season 1, but thanks to the difficult conditions in South Africa , Men like Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble proved out to be the more effective of the lot. they proved that experience is what makes a good team and not just slam bang cricket. I'm a RCB loyalist. Rahul and Anil helped India to new heights and are people who will take RCB to the new no.1 spot very soon.

I have the passion for cricket.. In fact the only thing I do with passion in my life is cricket.. As long as Rahul and Anil are part of the team and playing major roles of the captain, vice captain, Team RCB is the team I will be backing..

They are the only men who i thought contributed most to the Indian cricket team.. But the board disrespected them by the way they were relieved.. The men deserve Honor and RCB, their home team is helping them do that.. It's time they got the respect they deserved. And they'll prove us right!

The only way to motivate fellow RCB fans is to dress them in red and gold! It's always also good to have competition, may be have a interesting mix of supporters from the other team, overpower them as and when something big happens! Keep them involved by changing slogans - similar to what some Newzeland supporters did when India toured newzeland recently. I'm one loyal fan and I know whats needed to keep a team going..! Given the chance I will prove my worth....

Examples:

In a game against RCB and DC, assume a batsmen is consistently poor in batting, the slogan will read: Don't worry Symo (Symonds), a lot of people have no talent!...

Cricket is a game where two teams play. One loses and the other is RCB!

Mystic Facts: On an average, teams fear RCB more than death.

Turn the lights off! Atleast we'll not know who the bolwer is.

Safety instructions: Better to wag the tail than the toungue.

I have already compiled at least another 100 slogans that could be used to bring the smile on the players and the fans, some dangerous, some generous.. I haven't unveiled the complete lot yet, as I want this to be kept under the cover until the final audition.

The thought of cover gives me an Idea, I'd wear a Royal Challenger T shirt, wear a blanket over my head in all the matches. Confused? the slogan on the board would read:

"Shhh.. I'm the Undercover agent for the RCB!"

and this way i will change the slogans every time something happens.. I will pose as the undercover agent through out the tournament. Give me an opportunity and I'll show you what i can do.
