Chris Gayle stats for T20 in 2011
Probably a little late to write on this but, well! I want to brag about this Jamaican who can single-handedly win not only matches, but also hearts and smiles and dances! And here is the reason how:
Gayle in T20's in 2011:
Played - 27, Runs - 1441, Balls Faced - 782
Number of FOURs - 97, Number of SIXES - 103,
S/R - 184.27, Average - 65.50, 100's - 4, 50's - 8
Well, the stats say it all...! This man has been creating a havoc for all the opponents and has scared away almost every bowler. After not being retained by KKR durin IPL 4 auctions, he was not picked up by any teams for IPL 4. But as the stars would turn around; Dirk Nannes got injured during the initial phase of IPL 4 and we called Gayle for his replacement. Chris Gayle flew from West Indies within a day's time. He also tweeted something like "Gonna try my hand with RCB now for IPL; Long flight, long sleep"
And, when he came, he unleashed the beast within! Of course, we are all waiting to see him score and score, more and more in IPL 5! He has the power to work the stats and change the dynamics..! Go for it, Gayle.. We want Gaylestorm!
