Christopher Henry Gaylestorm in Sydney
He is back and how! The giant man, as we proudly call him, is playing Big Bash League. He is the opening batsman for Sydney Thunder team. Today Adelaide Strikers won the toss and elected to bat first. They made 155 runs in 20 overs. In reply, Sydney Thunder made 156 runs in 18.3 overs and won!
Of course, we were missing Gaylestorm for a long time now. He probably came to know about it and batted like heaven! Gayle started with 1 runs in the first over. And then, a FOUR! And then, came the STORM! 11 SIXES, in the overs: 4, 6, 7, 8, 2 SIXES in the 9th over, 14, 3 huge SHOTS in the 16th over and the final SIX in the 17th over.
His 100 runs came in just 54 balls. With 66 runs coming from SIXES and 12 runs from FOURS. And that was a treat to watch! Did you guys see it too? Also, doesn't it make us very eager for IPL 5?? Guess, it is our gift from him: Chris-tmas Gayle! :)
