Whoa!! whole lot of controversy on the site about the winners so I thought I may as well write a post about it, than let my comment disappear in the sea of comments there..
So, in response to my post on the winners and how they were declared -
I know that a whole bunch of you may have been very upset about the fact that you have not been selected, but there are other contests and so many more chances that RCB gives their fans, stick around and you will find some more contests to be a part of.
For those of you who feel you had so many votes and still did not make it, well people who did not even have their application approved were allowed to gather votes, would that mean that I should have considered even a rejected app just because he had more votes? I could not do that. We said 50% votes, 50% quality of the app. The shortlisting team have very expertly gone through every application and rated them on the basis of quality and their loyalty and love for RCB. The votes of course, was an aid to help in the process, but not necessarily the deciding factor
All you old fans who have been with us from the very beginning know very well that we value every one of you which is why I have written this post so everyone is clear on their point and knows what is happening.
For everyone who was rejected, or did not make it to the shortlisted, there is always a next time. I hope this should clear the air about us and our judging process.
