End of an Epic journey..but not the Pride,Belief & Faith
The journey to DLF IPL 2011 started with win over Kochi Tuskers, but it was followed 3 consecutive losses. This was the time when the critics came out of the closet. They started blaming the poor team selection, not retaining the key players and many other reasons for the losses. Also one of the strike bowler Dirk Nannes got injured.
Amidst these hoopla, criticism and injuries frenzied tournament, in came another Storm. The storm was none other than Chris Gayle. He arrived with a bang scoring a century in the very first match. The rest is a history now. From bottom of the table the team fought their way back to Top the table. Indeed it needed entire team to believe in themselves and give such a tremendous performance.
What a Epic Journey this has been...
- 7 Consecutive wins
- 2 Centuries in one IPL
- 37 Runs smashed in one over
- Youngest ever IPL Captain(Virat Kohli)
- Only Green Team in IPL
and still 'Game for More'
Well the team didn't win the IPL 2011, but surely won the hearts of the fans with the way they have played this season. Now that's what I call the true Challengers. A loss always was heart breaking. But still as a RCB fan I can hold my head high with Pride & Glory and my belief and faith in the team is still intact.
We are still the second best team in IPL 2011. Also we will come back stronger in Champions League T-20 2011.
As fan Disha Shetty says..
Outclassed..outplayed..outnumbered. But we atleast got there. After 51 days of mayhem & madness, 'Game for More' now at the Champions League!
We can conquer the world with such a wonderful team.
I Support RCB
Aaaar Ceeee Beee!!!
Congratulate the team for such a wonderful journey, being second best in IPL 2011 and Wish them luck for CL T20 2011..
