And the title goes to...................... Allen Abhishek
What is a Fan Ambassador?
A Fan Ambassador is someone who will represent RCB to the other fans of his city by organizing meet-ups and handling them. He is also responsible to be in touch with the community managers informing them of what is going on, his agenda of every meet-up and carrying those messages back and forth. He will also be responsible for providing content to the site after the meet-up like: photographs, videos, a blog post etc.
Why did he win this post?
Because he took an initiative, hosted a meet-up, created an event, made enough noise and a whole lot of buzz on the site about it, so much that RCB then wanted to step in and help! The meet-up had a total of 25+ people who came in and attended and claim to have a whole lot of fun too.
Not just that, but after the meet-up, he put up a blog-post, sent in pictures, taking up complete end to end responsibility of it!
Can he have people helping him?
If Allen wants, he sure can ask a few people to help him organize meet-ups and have subordinate fan ambassadors work with him.
So Allen organizes meet-ups? How do we get in touch with him?
Allen will try host a meet-up every month or 45 days. It should be on the discussion forum, a blog post and also as an event created on the fb page. We will advertise the meet-ups on the site, so keep coming back to know of the next meet-up!
Anymore questions, feel free to ask them right here and Allen and me will be happy to answer you! :)
