Happy Diwali and a Prosperous New Year!
Dear RCBians,
A festival of lights, colors, crackers and sweets! A day that is full of happiness, joy and smiles! Wishing every member of RCB family a very Happy Diwali and an auspicious New Year!
So many good events happened in this year. IPL 2011 finals: What a journey it was! Ups and downs and to the top, almost! and amazing discovery named Gayle-Storm aka Chris Gayle. Virat Kohli became the youngest ever captain of the IPL. Then came CLT20; What a roller coaster ride it was. We again reached to the top, almost again. We did the highest ever run-chase, twice.
During the same time, Sreenath Aravind was called team India squad. A very proud moment for all of us. And unfortunate it was for Umesh that he was ruled out of the series for the last 2 matches. But a blessing in disguise for our tall paceman Abhimanyu Mithun. He was the choice for the Blue Cap. And what a win it was for team India. 5-0, a total whitewash and a fully paid-back series!
On the international front, Nuwan Pradeep made his debut in the Sri Lankan Test team. A big step for the young RCBian! Let's wish them a big success at every stage and may we celebrate it all together! And we also had so many contests, raining prizes, rewards and what not!

Today, we celebrate Diwali with same pomp, fun and frolic. And tomorrow we welcome the New Year with even more enthusiasm! Let's us all thank the Almighty for this great experience. Also, let us wish team RCB a great year ahead and wish we win IPL 5! Along with, I am going to celebrate it in a Green way. No crackers, no smoke and no noise. It is going to be a clean Diwali with lots of sweets :P :P
While I do that, would you share your pics, your memories, your ways of celebrating these holidays! Something that you've done in the traditional style? Or differently? Or just the classic style?
Have an awesome Diwali and Wish you all lots of happiness! :)
Cheeeeers!
