well i see most comments are with disappointment over the loss of Dravid and Uthappa. But look on the brighter side, its still a competitive team and if you remember last IPL , Tiwary was destructive. So lets hope we get some good all rounders and bowlers

Left DISSAPPOINTED after day 1 of the auction, Hope AB, Vettori, Nannes, Zaheer perform big time coz i think we missed out on big hitters like cameron white, Rossy, Yousuf , KP, Eoin morgan , Robin uthappa , Chris gayle for his base price etc.. Hope RCB comes up with Plan B coz Plan A or Day 1 of the auction went terribly bad..

And i don't think AB, Tiwary or dilshan can get 200 odd runs in 20 overs if need be..

Will still cheer for RCB though... Go RRRCCCCCBBBB

Might as well Retained Robin Uthappa for ($ 1.3 Milllion ) rather than buying Saurabh Tiwary for Rs 7.36 cr( $ 1.6 million) I understand that Saurabh has been picked for the ODI team recently and Robin has not been considered from 2 years, However Uthappa has been a match winner for us and moreover is from Namma city. Perhaps Dr Mallya knows better and after all its his team …not ours :)( that's a sarcastic smiley by the way)

Kiran: AB is a fantastic hitter and Dilshan is a one of the most destructive batsman.
We now have 3 out of the top 7 ranked limited overs batmen in the world- A.B (2), Virat (5), Dilshan (7) and the top ranked bowler - Vettori

The best Value for money buy for the day in my opinion is
1.) Amit Mishra ( $ 300,000)
2.) Pragyan Ojha ( $500,000)

RCB having lost Kumble should have targetted one of these two...
RCB missed out on the bounty twice
