In true Mumbai isshtyle, everyone showed up late, harried, and bristling with excitement! To be honest, a lot of people were working today and quite some came from out of Pune. Our RCB Aunty (see Chief Blogger's post for her story) came all the way from Surat!!
I'm amazed by you Mighty 14! Even Mighty 14 Kolkata had a passionate traveler (Jackky from the south!!).

Back to Mighty 14 Mumbai: the lucky chaps (and ladies) posed for a snap with Manish Pandey! Manish btw won The maximum sixes award! Some also managed to sneak snaps with Sidhartha Mallya and someone even had their poster signed by Kumble himself! (don't remember his name, but he's the 17 year old cheering behind me in the stadium!)
Being in the stadium was intimidating: such few reds in the sea of blue (yes literaly!!). There were the Mighty 14, community manager Anisha, and half the team that runs the website was there too! About 20-30 of us total. Other RCB fans migrated to us too - one in particular practically became our chant leader. Imagine the surprise of the MI mass!! These red people screaming R-C-B!!! And of course JUMBO JUMBO JUMBO!! Oh we also totally screamed WE WANT SIXER - and to the dismay of the Mumbai fans, WE DID!
A great match, a great time. We were so excited, we kept jumping up from our seats-- to the point the MI fans kept begging 'oye Royals! Sit down na.'
Gonna head out to the after party now (if all goes well).

And its always a great feel to win home away matches!!!
The man sitting behind me was saying "Royalss , Khalti basa " after every min!!
Organizers of RCB should have had a talk with the hotel managers to allow photography!!
It's a nice picture and glad you guys cheered RCB to first away win of this IPL. At one point during the telecast, the camera did turn towards a bunch in red and gold and the chants of RCB, RCB were audible. The camera stayed there for only a fraction of the second and it was not possible to spot any known faces, but, my heart said, it was you guys.
Great to know that Aruna Auntie aka Lotuspetals also made it to the squad. Since she was not available online for a few days, I wondered if she will get the information in time. Great win today and more stunning performances ahead.
