My personal 5 fave Big Break applications
Less than 24 hours for The Big Break applications to close! So many apps pouring through, so many good ones, who to choose?!
As an RCB community manager for close to 2 years, the hardest thing is restricting my choice purely to the apps. I know half of the featured fans personally, I know their temperament, they enthusiasm and they're love for RCB. They're apps make me smile, "yeah! they're still applying, for some the 4th time, what dedicated fans!" And then there's the new faces. The fans with terrific music choice, the fans who are video students and do great work.
My favorite 5 might be quirky. I'm looking at just the application, and thinking, "hmm will the team like to hang with these guys for 2 months? will other fans appreciate they're work? will they do justice to the RCB Web TV???" So here's my pick and my "why i picked them" and a shout out to my other people who did a great job :) And now you guys know why we send 30 fans to the auditions! Let the judges do the hardest job!

VIKRAM AFZUL aka Parker It's the attitude that counts. And perhaps if you win, one of the Royal Challengers will teach you how to bat :P You're video had me laughing out loud (LOL-ING! HAAH).
Abhishek Shivaram I was grooving along to your song, and for once didn't curse my Tata Photon for taking so long to buffer, coz it was worth it. You should tweet your app to the King of Good Times, I'm sure he'd groove along too :)
Nisha Shetty Yes I'm guilty of being super partial to Nisha, i LOVE HER HUMOUR. And I'm relived that her app does her justice - now you guys can see why she keeps cropping up. Imagine her directing a video, coming up with funny topics, interviewing the players. I wanna see THAT on my Web TV.
Vivek-CFor all the teams going into the auditions, a videographer is key. Special effects, good music, dramatic editing. Nice.
Okay I can't just choose 5, I can't I can't! Here are other peeps who caught my eye
Kalveer and Parag good combination humor and editing skills you both haz.
Prajwal you're poem shows your passion for RCB, and your YouTube video shows your video capabilities (and very good muzic choice)
Gaurav Dhup - I zoomed past some photographers who were clearly extremely talented, but I couldn't gather from their portfolios why they'd be great for RCB Web TV. Gaurav's last photo stopped me short. The emotion... sigh. THAT'S what i wanna see in the Web TV!
Nijil-kumar the song! the song! the song! Tamil, so I can't understand it, but the song!!!
Aditya All heil the Photoshop Master. Love your creativity!
Ayush (aka) If you don't win, never fear, I'm sure there's a spot for you at Kingfisher Airlines, you're commentary is so smooth and quick and soothing :) Very impressed that you put in the effort to create an audio clip.
Mandar Hopefully app # 3 will be lucky for you? You've got that zing, let's see if the shortlisting team thinks sees the zang! *crossed fingers*
And lastly, Sushma. I see the last IPL has done you good, some great photos in your portfolio. Very inspiring, and very great to see the good work!
