Undoubtedly he was the panel’s choice for ICC’s ODI Cricketer of the year award. After the departure of Dravid team India was on the lookout for a solid number 3 batsman, he has managed to fill his boots pretty convincingly. From a young U-19 player he has become team India’s blue eyed boy by grabbing early opportunities provided.

This man needs no introduction! He is a true challenger in every sense of the word.This time we are featuring AB de Villiers, the man who won us many matches. He is a golfer, a rugby player and a tennis player too. Making his Test debut at the age of 20 against England he went on the become one of the most lethal batsmen. His beautiful stroke making capabilities coupled with fielding and wicketkeeping skills make him an asset for any team that he plays for. To add to this AB is a singer with an album which makes him a complete all rounder!

Know Your Challengers - Andrew McDonald
We are back with Know Your Challengers! Last time we featured Muttiah Muralitharan and this month it’s Andrew McDonald!
Andrew McDonald is a prolific all rounder from Victoria who continues to impress with his consistent performances. He has 1600 T20 runs to his name at a strike rate of 126.89. His medium pace helps maintain pressure on the opposition, creating chances for bowlers bowling at the other end. Ronnie, as he is fondly known by his team mates has certainly been a great find for RCB.
Zol Baby Zol!
He grabbed the headlines when he scored 451 off 467 deliveries against Assam in a Cooch Behar trophy match last year. He was at the crease for almost 11 hours when he achieved this feat. His purple patch continued as he notched up a string of good scores consistently. All these accomplishments just at a tender age of 17.
