I noticed the discussion forum had this whole discussion on Player Retention and everyone sharing their views on it.
Here is what Pune coach Geoff Marsh has to say about Player Retention. He says that he would like to see all the players go in to the auction ahead of the fourth season of the IPL because any retention of players would put the new franchises at a disadvantage. He says that the principle of "fair play" should be followed.
He also spoke of the very valid point of hectic travel all through IPL for the players and his opinion on how to reduce the burn-out for the players.
