Really, cheerleaders for ODIs?

Always thought ODIs were more 'gentleman-ly' sports. Or is that a thing of the past (Lagaan era). Anyhow, they're quite long, might be more fun to have cheerleaders perform after every X innings instead of throughout the game.

@Darshana I agree with yo. CLT20 and IPL have an international flavor and hence we should have multicultural cheer leaders

@Blogger Your idea is damn good for domestic matches, ODIs and Tests - will increase crowd turnout at the stadium by creating a carnival like atmosphere. Only way to keep interest alive in these formats. Only question, what if the cheerleaders are induced to sleep by the pace of the game?

I voted for “Why Can’t we have both” because cheerleaders are just anybody who can cheer the players to play even better. See the team itself is a mix both Indian and foriegn players, why do distinguish anybody. Just think in terms of sport.

I voted for "Why Can't we have both" which was a genuine feeling. But on seeing the poll results till now (6/8 in favor of the same option), there seems to be more that a hint of hollowness within my soul.
Being a true son of the soil, I would now like to go with the Indian-Pride option.
