RCB Fan's Meet Up in Bangalore: HUGE SUCCESS!
The Fan Meet-up organized by Allen was a good start in offline meet-ups with about 25 people and our first success after the Fan Summit.
I just talked to Allen on how the meet-up turned out and here is what he had to say.
The fans met at Le Rock in Bangalore around 1 PM in the afternoon and were really excited meeting in their red dress code and RCB jerseys. They met with one common agenda and one passion - RCB!
They discussed plans for future too & came up with a few ideas like:
* Fan cricket tournament (divide fans into teams captained by RCB players, play 10over match for a cause)
* Giving Seeds along with Jerseys with proper instructions on how to plant etc..
* and also Plans for CLT20!
They said that they'd love for these meet-ups to happen every month and exchanged phone numbers among themselves for the next time that there is a meet-up and also discussed their next place to meet-up at.
Next stop was the bowling alley where the fans just hung out with each other, went bowling, took loads of pictures. Pity that the girls came in an left early, cos there were barely any company for girls to hang out with but I guess the next time the guys can help them get comfortable and make friends talking about RCB eh?
Good going you guys that you're meeting was successful and we think that Allen did a pretty good job of organizing an offline meet-up! Good going Allen!!
Will put up pictures soon! We will aim at having more of you meet-up in some more cities that have RCB fans.
Read Allen's and Rakesh's blog-posts on the fun they had the Summit
