RCB Wins Special Award for its Green Initiatives @ Green Globe Foundation Awards
That special moment when every RCBian can smug! A distinct quality of us is being recognized and honoured! Yes, we are special and 1 of the reasons is "Go Green". And today, we are celebrating it in a different style.. Getting recognition from the Green Globe Foundation!
And here is the Trophy! Pat your backs and cheers! RCB has always done something different and will, continue to do so. The RCB's Go Green initiative is a small step towards addressing the issue of global warming and reducing its impact on our environment. We also intend to reduce our carbon foot-print. In this noble cause, fans have been the integral part. Our fans have stood up for all the events under this name.
In fact, our fans have taken a step ahead and shown keen interest in conducting various activities for Go Green. This included using public transport during match-days, handing and planting of saplings during birthdays and meet-ups. Participating in marathons, cycle races and so on.. Many of us have taken cycles to reach destinations. I can also name fans who have started car-pooling to support the cause! 3 cheers to the RCBians.. This award is yours as much as it is ours!
Let us all pledge to keep the same spirits and do our discipline to Go Green! ........
