Riding the Virat tide - Infographic

Virat Kohli has had a dream run of sorts in all the three formats of the game. He has had a prolific season scoring 1733 runs in just 31 matches which include 8 centuries and 6 half-centuries. Undoubtedly he was the panel’s choice for ICC’s ODI Cricketer of the year award. After the departure of Dravid team India was on the lookout for a solid number 3 batsman, he has managed to fill his boots pretty convincingly. From a young U-19 player he has become team India’s blue eyed boy by grabbing early opportunities provided.

His purple patch still continues in the T20 World Cup with scores of 40, 50 and 75*in the last three games he has played. Here’s a small infographic which tells you more about his stupendous form this season.
