@sandesh: it was like 100 fans get chosen for the initial round, and the best 50 of them will be chosen for the Royal Send off. Even now, you can aim for top 50. I'm sure you are that good, aren't you?

@jammie: do you think a team like RCB will re-schedule a planned event just because one of its fans has an exam? Moreover, the program could be in the evening. So i wonder who conducts exams and interviews on a Saturday evening :-)

@purnima Tell your teacher that you will get a video shoot with Rahul Dravid, a personally signed leave letter from him and an autographed ball if she would like.. I'm sure it can be postponed by a day.. There is no point sending the gift with somebody else!

Why do you join such courses with such unreasonable rules? Haven't heard of such a thing as 'having to repeat all 3 years'. Maybe students nowadays don't give a damn for losing an year?
Over 25 years back, I joined PG course even before my final semester Engg exams got over. My final sem project was done by my friends who were kind enough to 'include my name' in the the project report!
They said "you write the Project Report from your PG hostel and (snail) mail us - that help is good enough for us!" No internet, no telephones!
Looks like things can't get better than that!

@Radio: The cameras etc. have been booked by the college. I can't even say I'm trying to do something, because I know nothing can be done to get the shoot rescheduled. And earlier was the submission of idea and discussion which could be mailed/postponed. Shoot can't be. :(

I don't have a problem with any weekend apart from 4th-5th! The documentary movie that we make during the 3rd yr is to be shot on those two days. It was scheduled way back in July. Hence 28th was okay with me, but 4th isn't. :(

Works for me. Don't change it to a weekday; I have classes! And question: Which all members of the team will be there? Or entire team(save for the SA players)? Because how does that work if the player you made a gift for won't be there? Getting ahead of myself, I know... ;)

Royal Send Off: creating and sending gifts ends today, but hey! guess what...
The Royal Send Off in Bangalore will only happen on the 4th of September, which leaves you much more time to collect votes. So now, instead of the voting ending today, we have extended it to the 1st of September.
Although the votes are anonymous you can still ask your friend to go take the trouble and find your gift and vote for you.
And I will see the top 50 of you in Bangalore!!
