Say Hello to #CaptainKohli
On Wednesday came the big announcement of Virat Kohli being appointed as the new RCB captain. After a dream run with the bat in 2012 Kohli’s leadership capabilities were clearly established. He certainly is one of the contenders to the lead the Indian team in the future. Batting legend Sunil Gavaskar also backed him up to be the next skipper of the Indian team.
As soon as the news was out it was raining tweets. RCB fans were ecstatic! Kohli is the most capped player for RCB having been a part of the side since the inaugural IPL in 2008. He led the team in one game in IPL 2011 and in 6 games in IPL 2012, winning 4 of the games.
