It's fact that the RCB vs. DD match is going to be the last we see RCB play for a few weeks (days? who knows with cricket these days!! ;) ). I'm checking in to see how everyone is doing.

I'm kind of excited about the match against Dare Devils. It'll be interesting to see RCB's strategy throughout the match and to see how hard DD fights to be the only Indian team to make it to the semis. eel free to share your thoughts here about everything. Really, anything goes! How you feel about CLT20, T20!, all the matches this league, RCB's performance, you're favorite moments, everything.

Remember, the Fan Club isn't going anywhere. We are staying put. We've learned so much from interacting with you all for CLT20, we're itching to start preparing for IPL3!! Too soon? Pshaw, you know it's only a short while away! ;)

I apologize for not being online very much in the last two days. Family & Diwali got in the way (Happy Diwali btw!!). But rest assured, there will be a lot going on in the site over the next few days. In the blog, I'll be posting some great 'looking back moments,' and bits and pieces I've been collecting throughout the League. Including all the birthday wishes! And Siva's awesome photos (photo gallery + we'll be adding to the downloads section). Also, let us know what YOU want to see on the site over the next two weeks, not in terms of features per se, but in content --> the blog, the news section and from the three chiefs.

This journey by no means ends here for any of us. After all, according to the Hindu calendar, tomorrow marks a new year. (If you're not Hindu, just run with it, this makes a great blog post sign off :) ). A new year a fresh new start and a chance for us to consolidate the forces and fight back harder!

Do you feel it in you?? You're an RCB fan. Of course you do.

Happy New year to all..
@Disha We already have Ray Jennings section on the site. Yes, more inputs from the foreign players on what they thoughts would be great.
I'm a member on all the IPL team websites, This one happens to be the most active thanks to the contests! Well done all..
Lets make this even bigger..

Hey nidhi - Happy diwali to you too :) RCB has been the best IPL team in the tourney so far. And thanks to a revamped site & RCB FFC that we fans are in for all the inside dope of our favourite team. The chiefs have done exceedingly well by keeping us posted on all the action both on and off the field. Kudos to them :)
A suggestion- Could we get the RCB players & support staff blog about their experiences in IPL, CLT20 or even otherwise (of course keeping in mind that they are a busy lot)

Nidhi, thanks for anchoring a fantastic new chapter in the annals of the young RCB organization and the just born RCB Community. Hope you and your team will continue the good job and make it grow in a big way.

The last few weeks have been perhaps the most exciting to me, as a keen Observer of the game from my childhood many decades back! There was always a feeling in my mind that 'fans deserved some space' in the overall scheme of things and RCB has shown the way. It was so much fun cheering the team from the obscurity and anonymity of the world wide web, with many similar fans joining in. Just as much fun as the ones who got a dream opportunity to be in the inner circles of the team. The spirit will surely live on.

It's been a relatively quiet, yet colorful and well lit Diwali in Bangalore this year. In Cricket Bangalore, the quietness became all the more uneasy today as we saw Cobras romping away to victory. Luckily, the packed stadium at the KSCA stadium would have inspired Team RCB to give off their best - good that the spectators were truly rewarded for their time, money and effort.

From the fans to the players and surely the owner too, all of us had a dream - that RCB would reach the pinnacle of glory in CLT20 - and see poetic justice would be done for missing IPL2 trophy (which was ours but inadvertently gifted away!). One bad game and the queer format of CLT20 sent everyone's dreams to the incinerator.

But 'dreams' are always transient and get washed away even before we begin to enjoy the experience. It pains to think that the dream has slipped out of our hands - but the best way to manage ourselves is by defining a vision of what we as fans expect from RCB.

I, as a fan, would like to see RCB dominating the T20 format for the next 20 years and be seen as the most respected team in world cricket - backed by an RCB management that is sensitive and responsive to every stakeholder of RCB's success, including the RCB Fans. If we look at this as our aspiration, a win or a loss is only a milestone in a journey that everyone of us would enjoy together.

And the first step towards dominance was taken in today's match against DD - a warning of the shape of things to come in IPL3 has been served. A huge turnaround from the unlucky days of IPL1.

I am not sad anymore - we are a champion team!

:):):)

Cheers
