Team SL: 320 and Team India: 321
Win was destined for India today! It all started with the Toss. After a long time, Team India managed to win it! (The same was almost true for the match too!)..
First comes first, Zaheer Khan was back in the playing 11. He was in for Irfan Pathan who is recovering from the rib-injury; remember the collision between him and Raina??!! Quite funny yet, superb!
Then, it was the time of another RCBian, TM Dilshan, who played full 50 overs. And what an amazing score! 160* from 165 balls with 11 4s and 3 6s. He just did not look behind and kept scoring like rain!
The chances of winning for Team India looked tough... 321 in 50 overs? Also, to qualify for the finals, 321 in 40 overs? Impossible!
Well, it is not impossible when an RCBian is on crease to chase it. Our favourite and little champ Virat Kohli did it! He just went there and scored a brilliant knock of 133* runs from just 86 balls with 16 4s and 2 6s...!
Well started by Virender Sehwag and Sachin, Virat and Gauti gave the 4th 100-runs partnership of the series leading India to win.. After Gauti's wicket fell, Raina gave full support to Virat Kohli and together they sailed the Team India ship to shore of victory!
Kudos to both the teams! 320 + 321 = 641 runs scored in 520 balls. Only 7 wickets fell and 3 centuries were scored. Over all, a real entertainer! And the repeat of the World Cup Finals!
