What should the RCB mobile site have?

I'm in planning stage and I have a good idea of what *should* be in the perfect mobile site. But since YOU guys will actually be using it, now's the best chance to offer your suggestions!

Keep in mind the matches are in SA, it helps me to know where you will be accessing the mobile site from, and when (i.e. before CLT20 starts, before the match, during the match, after the match, when!)

Well, I've been involved in making mobile sites with my former employer. I guess the need is for fans to communicate with each other during match days, when not close to a PC/Laptop.

I guess one should have 2 of the most active discussions featured.
There should be a link for the scores being updated, along with tweets from the Chief Blogger/Podcaster/Photographer, catering to a lower data version for the mobile consumer.

Thats it...we can launch with this, study traction on the site, and then look at improving the offering to the discerning RCB Consumer on the Mobile Web.

Maybe, if we could have replies to discussions via sms, that would also enable the end consumer to participate in discussions without mobile web, and secondly will reduce dependence on GPRS.

That should be a laundry list to begin with.

As suggested by maddydravid, we need to have the wap version of the site also so that it will enable people who are using GPRS ( or any instance of low speed connectivity ). But we need to have the mobile site which will give us all the required features as mentioned in my previous post, so that i will enable other who are using high speed connectivity to browse and utilize the features of the site. We need to have the mobile site desgined for global usage and also consider that everyone will be using the same. Features should not be compromised on the main site and selective options should feature in the wap site.... then all of us are happy when we access it either ways :)

well not everyone has a high end mobile with 3G and wi-fi.so a wap site should cost less data charges and should be fast to load.the background must be red in colour.the header should have dravid,kumble and uthappa.no need of using flash content.it shouold give the latest rcb news and clt20 news.no need of any external links.option for downloading rcb ringtones and themes must be enabled for free for fans.the fan login must be given for download option.no need of any advertisements on the sides as it will slow down.a live score card must be enabled.no need of any graphs and others as it will result in heavy usage of packet data.hope this is a worthy suggestion.AGREE NIDHI???

Ah just wanted to add another important feature to be incorporated, we need a site search tool and google search tool is not required :). This will enable us to browse through the site easily with keywords.

A live TV that shows the match and soo on.

It should be a lite site with basic features:
1)Schedule (Summary of matches already played + Upcoming Fixtures)
2)News as in the RCB News
3)Live Scorecard (Home Page when match is live , Else RCB News)

As to when: Before CL T20 match - To catch preview
During : Live Scorecard
After : For a Review
