We've received a slew of Fanatic Fan applications in the last few days - we're up to over 2,800! Which means we have a lot of new prospectives who haven't had as much time to spend on campaigning. Don't worry, we understand.
Votes and testimonials are not the only thing we're looking for. We expect you to have at least some, but we'll be spending a lot of our time looking for quality applications. How do I define quality? Well, for starters, your application should stick out from the crowd. We should get the sense that yes, you will make a great Chief Blogger, Photographer or RCB Fan for the Royal Challengers. We should be able to see your passion, sincerity and creative spark. This is intentionally vague. You know yourself better, you know what makes you special. Tell us.
The shortlisting will be a hard process for us. We've seen tons of good applications (you can see them in the Fan Club/Featured Applications page), and we'll have to narrow them down to 9 prospectives for each category, giving us a grand total of 27 fans for the next leg of the RCB Fanatic Fans Challenge.
So the votes and references will certainly give you an extra push, but they won't come in handy unless you have a great application in the first place.
I hope this makes helps. Leave me a comment.
