So this time I would pick 3 youngsters..
Uthappa, Pandey and Ross..:)

Dravid - one of the gr8est batsman of all times
Kumble - an xcelent bowler and a gr8 leader
Uthappa - a batsman who can single handedly change the course of the game and keeps wickets well

Ross Taylor:- on his day can turn the game on it head!!!make the impossible seem like child's play

Robin:- Aggressive and innovative...this fearless lad has all the making of a fine finisher or a good starter... consistency is an issue that he need to over come...

Dale Steyn:- Arguably the best in the business in his field of expertise...can break the back bone of any batting order just thru sheer pace and aggression...

Anil Kumble - Fierce Competitor, a great bowler.

Uthappa - Agressive batsman, can change the match to its head, a india team call is soon on the cards.

Ray Jennings - He is coach, he helps strategise, prepare, plan for the team. I like him because of his no holds barred approach

Anil Kumble --- Vigilant Leader and an impressive bowler
Jacques Kallis --- Spearhead in batting and efficient allrounder
Dale Steyn --- Raw and Lethal bowler

Actually cant stop myself with only 3, but got to live with the other great players in my mind as of now :)

I m sorry, the names were not rated in order of preference. It would be RD, Robin and Dale if the ranking has to be given.

Natasha, this is really tough. I decided to comment as three names quickly came to mind, but, then the fourth, fifth...12th..

There are so many awesome players in our ranks, but, the task has to be done.

1. Dale Steyn - The SA extra fast bowler is the cutting edge of our attack. Though, his extreme pace is prone to getting awry, but, he is the deadliest when he gets it right, none of the rival batsmen will get it right.

2. Rahul Dravid - 'The Wall' is the heart of our batting and the best batsman undoubtedly. He needs to be there and if his fielding in the IPL 2010 is anything to go by, he is good for more.

3. Batman Robin - I don't think, I need to say why :) for this guy.
