I took to the game of cricket in school thanks to my brother as a viewer and then tried a hand on underarm cricket in the back yard with my gang of girls to go on to play for the college team at the district level as a middle order batsman and a medium pace bowler. I left the bat behind and took the microphone instead to stay connected with the great game and its my dream to become a female version of Harsha Bhogle. I took part in the dreamjob contest conducted by Espnstar in 2008 in search for a presenter and stood among the Top 10 in the country. Subsequently,I have been doing audio cricket commentary for Tata Indicom subscribers since 1.5 yrs and continue to do so. I regularly do sport based shows on Radio Must 107.8 community radio station. As a variation i did some podcasts for the popular youth magazine JAM on varied subjects. The RCB mike would be in safe hands: As i am a fanatic RCB fan , with a good voice,love interacting with people and can articulate the knowledge of the game.More importantly lot of men talk cricket it is high time it has more female population.Dont you think ?
