Cricket & your City, Cricket in your City
Tell us about cricket and what it means to your city, how it is followed, any RCB fans there?
We want to know about it all
Well I'll start with a clique "cricket is a religion in India " and in my Bengaluru too .I kno everyone thinks mumbai is the cricket hub of india but i beg to disagree karnataka in my opinion has produced and groomed far better players than them . The bangalore fans are far more loyal and intelligent wen it comes to the game. For us our local players are far bigger stars than the international players and it is evident by the number of ppl that followed the ranji team to mysore last season me being one of them . Every fan here is a Fanatic fan we even diligently watched the KPL last year and as for the number for RCB fans here just watchin one RCB match will answer that for you IPL3 had me and dad in the chinnaswamy for every game and with the 43,000 odd other fans there i think made enough noise to prove that we are with u guys through thick and thin .
Cover a local cricket match.
How the game was played, controversies on the ground, injuries and who bags the gold at the end
of the match. Build the excitement with your words.
well the last local match i watched was my university tournament : Veterinary college Bangalore vs Veterinary college Bidar its a 50 overs a side . the game started off with bidar being the favorites winning the last two tournaments . Bidar won the toss and decided to bat first . the first over was a nightmare for us two catches goin down at first slip they scored six runs off that over then nothing eventful till the 10th over they had made 23 for no loss then our bowler got a breakthrough and they lost one of their openers then in the next over a leg before was turned down and the batsman started sneering at the bowlers causing him to walk over and use some of the most amazing kannada slang then it started raining so match was reduced to 35 overs and the bidar team made 96 runs and our dismal chase began with losin both the openers within 6 overs with only 9 runs on the board then thankfully the rain gods intervened and play could not be resumed so the match was called a draw
I CAN BE RCB'S CHIEF BLOGGER BECAUSE..
