A poem for The wall of India and now RCB...
“‘Rahul dravid’ is my favourite cricketer;
But is out of team not being a youngster,
By age he is nearly thirty Eight;
But still can hit bowlers as fast as Shaun tait,
He has scored ‘5 double centuries’ in test matches;
And being a non wicket keeper has taken highest no. of catches,
He is nick named as ‘the wall’ and ‘Mr. dependable’;
And I think we all know of doing what, he is capable,
He was named ICC player of the year Two thousand four;
And also MTV Pepsi youth icon and many more,
Being the skipper he has set the world record of 17 wins by consecutive chases;
And I think none other captain will be able to break it, till ages,
Staying at crease in tests for highest no. of minutes is his another world record;
He has many of them, the list is very broad,
As soon as from his captaincy he retired;
From the team he was fired,
Dhoni became his successor;
Who concentrates only on youngster,
Even though in IPL(1,2,3) Dravid showed good form;
He hit the ball like a storm,
But is still been kept out of playing elevel(11) ;
Only because of the dhoni devil,
I am his fan; the name is Akash;
And this exclusion of his, I feel; is harsh,
But still, Everyone knows that there is truth behind all my speaks;
That dravid, is the master of all techniques.” |
