About me

Captained the New Zealand Under-19 team in the youth internationals where he scored 132 in the State Shield in 2003-2004, and 184 in the State Championship in 2004-2005. Ross Taylor made his debut for New Zealand in March 2006, in an ODI against the West Indies. He became the second player of Samoan descent to play for New Zealand. Taylor has been a dominant batsman on the domestic scene for the past couple of seasons. He is a clean striker of the ball and an effective off-break bowler.
