Daniel Christian

Daniel Christian is a handy all rounder from South Australia, batting in the middle order and bowling medium pace.
He made his reputation as a hard hitting batsman and death overs specialist bowler for South Australia, earning a national call up in the Australian T20 squad against West Indies in early 2010, the first Australian cricketer of Aborigine origin to play International cricket.
Christian was one of the biggest buys of the 2011 auction where he was picked up by the Deccan Chargers. He performed decently, scoring 335 runs and taking 19 wickets in his 21 games but could not justify his huge price tag.
He has been a regular in the Australian limited overs set up and took a hat-trick in March 2012 against Sri Lanka in an ODI at Melbourne. Dan also chipped in with crucial runs and wickets in in Brisbane Heat’s 2012-13 Big Bash League campaign, helping the team eventually lift the trophy.
