Pakistani players should be allowed to play in IPL 2013
Pakistan have played in four consecutive World T20 semifinals, twice reached the final and won the trophy once. So there is no doubt that they have some of the best T20 players in the world. India on the other hand have not been able to reach the semifinals since 2007 so it makes sense to bring Pakistani players in the IPL. It would raise the quality of the tournament, better players will provide better contests and playing with/against the best will be beneficial to young Indian players. Pakistani fans too deserve to see their brightest talents shine in the IPL and receive financial rewards which just playing for the national team does not provide. It is time to set aside politics from sport and treat cricketers as cricketers.

Dhiraj Salian: There's a big talent pool in Pakistan which IPL teams must use to their advantage. The playing conditions also don't differ much and names like Afridi, Akmal, Misbah and Tanvir add strength to any side they play in. On the emotional side it's a great feeling to see players from both the countries play together.
Tania Dey: Pakistani players have hogged the limelight continuously but only for the wrong reasons. Currently the Pakistani side does not boast any exceptional talent hence their inclusion or exclusion would not affect the popularity of IPL in any way.

Instead of experimenting with new players, India should play its well set players in the series ahead of the World Cup.
