Vijay Zol and Sheldon Jackson should get opportunities
Vijay Zol and Sheldon Jackson must definitely be given a chance for RCB since the rest of the batsmen too need to prove themselves apart from the 'Big Three'. A long campaign is won not just with a strong playing XI but also with a deep bench strength, ready to step up to the occasion every time a challenge is thrown at them. With just 4 overseas players allowed to play, it makes sense to try out promising Indian talent and give them a chance to prove themselves.

“ Zol and Jackson deserve a playing eleven spot ”
“ The current bating line up should not be tinkered with ”
Dhiraj Salian: Though the RCB batsmen are in great form, the bulk of runs have only been scored by Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli. There has been no match winning knock from the rest of the batsmen, and when the ‘big three’ get out cheaply, the rest have proved insufficient. Zol and Jackson should be given chances to see if they can bat RCB out of a crisis. If they succeed, RCB will have a stronger line up
Monish Moorthy: Bringing on Zol and Jackson in place of other first team regulars like Tillakratne Dilshan is not a masterstroke especially since RCB has enough batting firepower to win them games handsomely. A change in the batting line up upsets the balance of the team and may not be a wise idea considering the hot streak that the RCB batsmen are in currently.

Instead of experimenting with new players, India should play its well set players in the series ahead of the World Cup.
