Here's how you can find your entry, catch up on comments and send it to your cricket friends and fam.
Go to your Profile Page, either by clicking 'View Your Profile' in the top right corner, or using the URL - http://www.royalchallengers.com/fan/NAME (replace name with your rcb username) E.g., if your RCB username is avinash-polepally you can see your application and comments on your Fan Profile Page - http://www.royalchallengers.com/fan/avinash-polepally I'll feature reviews that I find interesting here, going through them all today. If you have a favorite, leave it in the comments and I'll put it up here p.s. yes, this is all part of our major plan to revamp the profile pages and make them more fun A personal post....
RCB feels like my baby. Whenever I check my Facebook or Twitter accounts (and sometimes Orkut), I make it a point to check RCB's as well. Since I have an iPhone and am conveniently addicted to the internet, that's almost always! Writing for this blog has really become a part of my daily habit... Even on weekends. So, dear RCB community. I need to tell you something. Sit down. Breathe in. Breathe out. I'm going away for the weekend. That's right. Taking a break from the city. Going to explore southern Rajasthan! Udaipur in particular and maybe some of the neighboring towns and villages (travel & food suggestions in the comments please!!) It's going to be amazing. But I'm leaving my laptop behind. Which means I won't be blogging all weekend. This may result in a comeback from Sandip... maybe So, here are some parting words. 1. Sometime tomorrow, head over the Airtel Champions League Review Contest page. The contest is open until Sunday night, but we're displaying all the reviews starting tomorrow. Don't worry about anyone copying/stealing your ideas - our jury isn't going on holiday so they'll be checking out the reviews over the weekend. AND after the deadline - so please feel free to edit and perfect it until Sunday midnight. 2. Have questions about the contest? Leave them on this post. I receive all comments via email, so I can reply via email (iPhone addiction, told ya). If I don't have net connectivity in Udaipur, the other fans will definitely help you out. So keep commenting. 3. Chennai meet up is in the planning stage for Nov. 14 - if you know any RCB fans there, definitely tell them to check it out on the blog or on Facebook. 4.Keep the conversations alive. Continue planning the meet ups, trivia nights, magazine etc. Feed the bloggers. Feed yourselves. Root for India at the ODIs. And RCB players at Ranji. (Manish Pandey's doing a great job). Take care. Enjoy the weekend. Bye.< /end-of-overly-dramatic-post> Something I've noticed and has been brought to my attention several times... we have some AWESOME posts on this site. The bloggers have been working hard. But they don't get their fair share of comments. It's really hard to keep writing and being motivated to write when you don't have a loyal fan following and encouragement.
![]() So! I propose, we FEED THE BLOGGERS. Every time you read a post that makes you smile, leave the blogger a comment saying 'good job' or something to indicate you've read it. Would it help if we had a "like" button near every post? (liking is easy!) ![]() disclaimer: the creative team had nothing to do with the above graphic, that was purely me messing around in Photoshop ![]() WHEN: SAT NOV14 (Tentatively) WHERE: to be announced WHO: Kunal & Shankz RSVP: here, and on facebook Good news, Nov 14 is a 10 days away. So keep yourselves FREE and show up! Suggestions for the event, location, activities are more than welcome. In Bangalore? I hear Chennai ain't too far away - I suggest a group road trip to get all you fans together. P.S. There's an RCB match in Chennai on March 31st. Bangalore-based fans planning to go, get in touch with the Chennai fan base. Also, Chennai fans planning to go to RCB matches in Bangalore, get in touch with the B'lore base.
