A biography of Abhinav Mukund!!!

Abhinav Mukund was born on 6th Jan 1990 in chennai.
He is a left Handed opener who has played for TN , India , india U-19 and recently had been signed up by RCB.

This Profilic batsman has been consistent in the domestic circuit.he has been scoring in a good consistently with century in every 3rd first class match.The current Opening batsman in indian test team , Murali vijay has been a good support for Abhinav mukund.they have been part of big partnerships.


Though he was selected for the 2008 India U-19 squad in malaysia,but ended up warming the bench. he has been showing some good flair in his batting skills with a healthy average and was eventually asked to represent the national team.


He debuted against WI in 2011 and performed well to be used as a backup opener which eventually led him to be selected by Royal Challengers Bangalore for the Pepsi IPL 6.

Mukund has been a consistent player in domestic first class matches but a there is a question mark on his ability to do well in ODIs and T20s. CSK didnt play him last season even for a single match. Not sure why RCB included him in the team
