A day for RCBians @ perth

India won against Srilanka in the second ODI of the CB series in Australia, both the teams had RCB players who showed their quality stuff.

Indian victory overseas is always a joy, no matter how they come. India won the second ODI of the CB series against Srilanka at Perth. However, the victory was not very convincing, we still enjoyed the cameo by the late middle order (or the early tail) of Team India which has been more effective in the recent past, thanks to the failing middle order.

Apart from the victory, we RCBians had another part of it to enjoy. The RCB players in both the teams were outstanding in the match, the way Zak and Vinay Kumar bowled, the calculated innings of Dilshan and a "WOW" of an innings from Virat.

Zaheer showed us why he is the main strike bowler of Team India, he was absolutely unplayable in his first spell where he troubled the openers and got Tharanga edging one to the slips. He came back with the same strengths and nailed Sangakara with a beauty, that was his second moment of excellence. Vinay Kumar who used the new ball to his full strengths was simply amazing, bowling at a great line and length was awarded with a wicket in the final overs of the innings.

Meanwhile, Dilshan was not only playing a calculative innings but also played some excellent shots square of the wicket on the offside, before he perished two runs short of what would have been an amazing half century. Srilanka had set a target of 234 for India in their 50 overs.

During the second innings, India lost Sehwag early chasing a stiff target on those conditions, incomes our RCBian by blood, young Virat Kohli who steadied the ship along with the little master, he played some splendid shots all over the ground along with some outstanding pull shots, he was limping in pain with the cramps unfortunately after reaching his half century. He smacked a six straight down the ground. then eventually he was run out the next ball where in he tried a risky single of the last ball. He made 77 which put India on course of their first victory in the series.

Congratulations Team India, who registered their first victory in the CB series with a wobbly chase. More and more superb performances lined up by RCB players in this series.

GO RCB !!!!
