A terrific effort from Virat to level the series.
After a couple of disgraceful setbacks in Mumbai & Kolkata,Team India’s state yet again looked wobbly before Virat & MS Dhoni consolidated the Indian innings with a brilliant stand of 198 runs in the 3rd day of the 4th and final test between Ind & Eng at Nagpur.

Virat kohli can be seen coming back to his usual form with his heroic 289 ball century in the 3rd day of the 4th test between India and England at Nagpur. Virat came
in at number 5 after the early dismissal of important wicket like that of Pujara, Sachin ,Gambhir and Sehwag in this innings. He shared the pitch with skipper MS Dhoni
for brilliant partnership of 198 runs.
Immediately after the drinks break Graeme Swann made him depart for an LBW. MS Dhoni’s innings too got seized at 99 with Cook’s direct hit.
At the end of the day India was at 297-8 ,trailing by 33 runs. The 3rd day of this Test witnessed two under pressure batsmen performing brilliantly, one of them being
the captain of a weak side without much return even from he himself and the other one being burdened with the tag of very weak performance in this very series.
The Virat-Dhoni duo enlightened the chances of actually getting the series leveled but even this hope seemed to diminish with the deliveries from the guest team at the
end of the day, which took 4 Indian wickets out of just 28 balls.
With this ton from Virat,he slammed his 4th test 100 and along with that he too became to highest run-getter of 2012 leaving behind close competitor Michael Clarke.
