Team India in their come back match scored a scintillating 315,which had in it, a massive contribution from our star RCB batsman Virat Kohli scoring,very crucial 106 runs.
Team India came back in to action after almost a two month long leave after the IPL, with todays first ODI in Hambantota,Sri Lanka.RCB’s star batsman Virat Kohli played yet another scintillating knock, hitting his carrier’s 12th ODI ton here.He started his innings of 106 runs with two consecutive boudaries at the 5th over.He came in when Gambhir got out only for 3 in the 5th over when India were 18 for1.
India’s innings were still steady till in the 10th over with 45 runs & just 1 wicket down with both Virat and Sehwag in the pitch..virat reached his 22nd 50 in jus 62 balls..which was also his 5th consecutive half century.Virat marched towards his unbeaten 65 facing right arm fast bowler Malinga’s charging deliveries in the 30th over.Rohit Sharma was clean bowled by Angelo Mathews when India were at 191 for 3. Virat was going on with his awesome innings nearing his ton.
Virat slammed his 4th century against Sri Lanka in the 38th over just making use of 106 deliveries.
This awesome contribution from Virat was going on doing the good job for India,until when one of his power drive didn’t timed well and he was caught by Thirimanne at the short extra cover. Virat’s 106 runs has consolidated india’s innings and played an ireplaceable role to put a massive score of 315 on the boards.
