AB’s Proteas Take on Dilshan’s Lions in the ODI series
The ODI series begins on Jan 11th 2012 as the two RCBians AB De Villers and T.Dilshan would take on each other in the ODI series being played in South Africa.
After we saw some superlative performance in the Test series between
the 2 Countries the 2 classic RCB players AB De Villers and Tillakaratne Dilshan
will now be seen playing amongst each other as Captains in the ODI series in
South Africa.
The series will also be the first chance for AB de Villiers as captain after
injury meant he missed the matches against Australia. AB de Villiers looked in
supreme touch in the Test series winning the Man of The Series award and this
would do word of good for him taking over the captaincy
as well as being back in the role of Wicket-Keeper. AB de Villiers presence in
the middle would be a huge boost up for the Proteas as and would play a crucial
role in the middle as he did while playing for RCB.

On the other hand another key all rounder for RCB, Sri Lankan Captain opener
TillakaratneDilshan would be looking to build on in the ODI's leaving the
disappointment of the Test series behind but taking a positive note winning the
2nd Test Match by 208 runs and would be eager to give an even battle to his
RCBian mate AB de Villiers. Tillakaratne Dilshan role with the ball with be as
crucial as that with the bat.
