Airtel Champions League-A Battle of Stars & Rookies!!

Champions League T20 has its own charisma hosted by SA,I think one of the best hosting countries in the world of sports. It is going to be a battle of stars and rookies.
All eyes on Team RC!!

Team RC is arguably one of the most charismatic teams in both IPL and Champions League, led by superstar Anil Kumble and managed another superstar Vijay Mallya/Siddartha Mallaya.

South Africa seems to be a happy hunting country for Team RC and we came a long way from no where to a leading team in IPL. Lot of positives from the IPL 2009 and one must agree that we have a fair chance to win Champins League and the reason is simple,we have a proven track record of being one of the successful teams in SA.

Being in the Group B, Team RC is one of the strong contender to become champions, apart from Mumbai Indians the other three teams does not have star players and lacks charisma. Highveld Lions, South Australian Redbacks and of course one of the winning teams from TBC (West Indies). So we are pretty sure of a semi-final berth (no second thoughts- be positive yar).

Strategically speaking we need to two thumping wins to make it to the semi-finals that is for sure and from there it is anybody's game and looking in to RCB's track record, we have a great chance here to take some revenge against the other two IPL teams.

It is too early to comment on the team composition because of the retention of the players which is a big question mark, but I am sure our Team Management are chalking out some match winning plans. Our Coach Ray Jennings must be a happy man because of his SA roots which can be of immense help for Team RC.

We never know it is a game of cricket and we hardly know the rookie-players strengths and weaknesses, Well a lot of homework need to be done by Team RC. the mental strength of the players will help to win the matches in a crunch and nerve-wrecking matches. The lesser fame clubs are going to work hard to prove a point or two and they are definitely capable of pulling up some stunning victories.

It is going to be a awesome league and we should see Team RC displaying some dynamic cricket and memorable for the fans across the India and SA (I hope SA might be having fans to cheer for Team RC)

Let us wait and watch!!
