AND ANOTHER WIN IT IS!

The IPL is said to be a whole package of entertainment and cricket. When you think of entertainment, you think of happiness, heartbreak, fights and lots and lots of drama.

And that is what yesterday’s match, between RCB and KKR had! It was an amazing match, where we got to see some brilliant batting by Chris Gayle, superb bowling by RP Singh, and good fielding by a few of the boys. Yes, there was also the misfielding by Captain Kohli, but we are willing to forgive him for that!

Now, the drama I am talking about is of a different kind, one which caught the crowds and the commentators by surprise, and which was debated by cricketers on news channels this morning! The war of words between the two skippers- Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli. A lot of “exchange of words” was seen on the field during the match, between both teams, as well as within teams. But what took people’s breath away was the ‘almost fight’ between the skippers. The issue got sorted, thank god for that. But will this grudge be carried on for the entire tournament? That is something that we just have to wait and watch.

This was a brilliant match, with RCB playing exceptionally well. Both departments, the bowlers and the batsmen performed well, especially the mighty Chris Gayle with his 85* off 50 balls! Virat Kohli holds the Orange Cap with 198 runs, Vinay Kumar holds the Purple Cap with 7 wickets, and Chris Gayle has the maximum individual sixes- a whopping 14 already! RCB is at the top of the table, with 6 points.

Do I still stick to my prediction of RCB winning? OF COURSE! With their current streak of good performances, they will knock down every obstacle that comes their way.

So let’s get together and cheer for Namma RCB!!
