Cardinal duties of an RCB fan.

Off late, a lot of people have attributed our loss to Jacques Kallis' performances. A LOT OF OUR VERY OWN FANS.

Well, if T20 cricket - or any other form of cricket, for that matter- were as simple as some of us make it sound, Mr. Mallya would well have chosen Adrian Sutil in the squad.

But guess what? It doesn't work that way.

It's saddening to see that the player who is the pivot around which RCB's success and balance revolves, is being treated this way.

Kallis has won more games for us than anyone in the team. Together with Uthappa and Pandey, it is Kallis who gives the perfect support for a bigger push. Anyone who knows cricket also knows that selfish payers can never make it to the biggest level. So, to say that Kallis is playing merely for an orange cap, is utterly juvenile -if not more. "One swallow doesn't make a summer". If it were like that, try asking Utthappa to play alone and win a game for us. To speak like that about someone who has survived over a decade at the highest level with runs and wickets of the highest magnitude, is what is bringing the team down.

YES, hear me.

It's not only the fact that Kallis had a few bad matches that is bringing the team down. It is the fact that people who are supposed to be fans of the team are bringing down a very important silhouette, so badly. And that applies to any other player too. The team management is comprised of highly seasoned professionals who get paid for their ability. Leave the talking to them.

Our duties are limited to backing the team and giving them the impetus to go ahead and shine, not pulling it down and questioning individuals. RCB is a TEAM and we are a part of it. Lets all be team players and make sure RCB's flag remains flying.

@ extremely sorry for that 1 comment that was moderated! I just had to do that slight personal attack as too much of personal targeting was done towards me. But i should have remained sensible n not do the mistake what others are doing. Apologise for that!

Why do you guys ALWAYS DO THIS AT MIDNIGHT! OKAY. I, the moderator, have gone through and moderated a whole bunch of comments from people on both sides of the argument for either inappropriate language or personal attack. I've mentioned where I've moderated, and have replaced what I deem inappropriate with '------------'

@thatguy.... no ones showing any hatred.. telling a batsman plays badly isnt hate... I havent in any posts abused kallis or any player.. I have said he plays badly and he does... it is you --------------------------------

@bangaloreboy1 read closely my ------------------------------------ friend. I didn't ask anyone to ------- me. --------------------------------. And I'm probably saying this for the eleventy hundrend and gleventy fourth time..you're not criticizing him, ur showing hatred. that DOES bring the team down. And don't say you didn't say anything about me. You're throwing a display of your potential here. And it only shows your immaturity when you start abusing to things that are said about you. Maybe Kallis' feelings will become more clear to you now.

@radio sandeep.... no one wants to abuse but some posts just breed arrogance .. you cant deny that... all want to talk cricket.. yes.. if some one plays badly, fans will criticise.. I havent in any of my posts abused our players but plainly written kallis just plays badly.. which he does.. It is my view, some others also share that... but to call that as " fans are bringing down the team etc etc " and telling us about our duties is rubbish.. If we dont show our emotions , cricket or cricketrs will not be where it is today...
