Chris Gayle signed by Somerset for their 20-20 Tournamnent
Chris Gayle will be entertaining the crowds at Taunton in the Flt20 this season playing for Somerset.
Somerset have signed RCB's Champion Player Chris Gayle for this year's Friends Life t20 campaign. Gayle will replace Kieron Pollard as one of Somerset's overseas players.
Somerset batting line-up that also includes Craig Kieswetter, Marcus Trescothick, Peter Trego, Roelof van der Merwe, now has Chris Gayle which will make it a team to watch out for and they have been losing finalists in the last three seasons and with 1 man's inclusion i.e. Chris Gayle, which will casue a bigger headache for the opponents and will brighten their chances of winning the finals this time around.
"I am delighted to be heading to Somerset this summer," said Gayle.
"They are a great club and hopefully I can make a key contribution to
their T20 campaign this year."
Chris Gayle is also having a very good run in the Big Bash League which is being played in Australia where he is the top run getter for his team Sydney Thunder scoring 252 runs in the tournament till date.
