Been to the Indiblogger Bloggers Meet a while ago, I was amazed to see the support our Club RCB gathers! RCB Excerpts from the meet
The mood was set in much before the meet with Kingfisher announcing FREE Beer! The invitation already had people asking to discuss IPL and RCB out there. So much enthu in the invite itself consolidated my thoughts of carrying the RCB tag at the Bloggers meet. Yeah, I wore the RCB jersey out there and was glad to see Prashant also turning up in the same uniform.
Well, don't worry I won't be discussing the blogger meet here, but will definitely mention what makes me write this post.
We were asked to play a game. Everyone had charts around their necks and had to ask other people to write in comments. I went around meeting and interacting with people discussing a lot of things. Since the chart was tied to my back I could not read what were people writing about. By the time it was time-up I had some 15 comments on my back. Like everybody else, even I was excited to read what had people written about, but when I started reading, I was completely amazed! Though everybody wrote different things - job, life, blog, wishes, all had 1 thing in common - RCB. Yes, whatever they wrote, they connected it to our Club RCB. In fact one guy even wrote that he was jealous that I had the RCB jersey and he didn't. Phew! There was just so much support for RCB that I couldn't believe. Me and Prashant even told people about the FFC-2 challenge, so the competition and support might just increase!
Although that session ended there and we moved on with the meet, Club RCB pulled back attention once again as I had an interesting session, at the end, with the organizers about RCB and Indiblogger partnering for the next meet and moreover for watching the matches together at a BIG screen! I don't know if that's a possibility but would definitely like to take it further. Imagine a place filled of RCB fans, cool bloggers and Mugs of Beer flowing! I am thrilled even just by its thought!
@Disha Yeah, truly it was seriously too much fun! BTW, I think possible in Mumbai too, my friends in Mumbai tell me they've seen people wearing RCB jerseys there. Guess you need to sight them too!
So much support.... just awesome!
