Cricket's biggest Enigma yet its biggest Nightmare

Do these power hitters of International cricket have another trait to their personality?

Andrew Flintoff
(Freddie) has tried to put England's weary and fragile hearts at ease by saying he will make himself available for every England game, except Test matches. Oh thanks, Fred. How gracious of you. What will happen during IPL season? I bet your knee will feel magically better. What's even more is that, you turning into a freelancer would make your heart sway with the big bucks coming your way? Wonder if your promise of playing in the 2015 World Cup is just an eye wash!

Kevin Pietersen:
If Flintoff is first on the list, how can KP be left too far behind. Named the skipper of the Royal Challengers for 2nd season, he looked out of sorts both with the bat and his leadership skills. This was the same guy who threw tantrums into the South African bowling line up with 3 consecutive centuries on their previous tour to his homeland. Perhaps the crowd's booing got to him a bit. The biggest shock was, during the toss against the Daredevils, where in KP mentioned that there were no changes, but we were perplexed to see wholesome changes to the team, 3 crucial changes at that. How could he have possibly missed that? However with due respect to him, he is a great batsman and an entertainer. His leadership skills however didn't match his willow magic.

Mohammad Asif:
The mercurial fast bowler from Pakistan was the most promising bowler to emerge, after the retirement of the 2 W's Wasim and Waqar. He was touted as the next big thing in Pakistan cricket. This guy could make the ball do all the talking, but his fascination for certain other stuff (You know what I'm referring to) got the better of him, and in the end spelt doomsday to his chances for making a comeback. He is lucky to have gotten a chance to re establish himself in the Pakistani line up, now its his turn to make it count. Watching him bowl against a fragile Aussie batting line up the other day was a delight, lets hope for the sake of cricket, that this young guy can make it count.

Symo:
He is known for his fascination towards Alcohol and rugby. That probably explains where his loyalties lie, and also perhaps where he was prior to their opening game of the World T20. He has perhaps learnt a couple of hindi words thanks to Bhajji and the entire monkey gate episode, but that is as far as his hindi is concerned. How many cricketers in the world will choose fishing over playing cricket for their country? A chance to wear the baggy green with pride. Mind you, the BaggyGreen is available exclusively only to those playing for Australia, and is strictly not replicated to let the players know how special it is to represent Australia. You decide if this is called Loyalty! Far from this hue and cry, we all know what a destructive batsman he can be, but in the end of the day people remember the runs and the wickets you have taken and not the things you do off the field. Wake up Symo!
