So the all important Test series between India and South Africa is about to start. The Visitors are here and are already playing their first practice match against BOARD PRESIDENT XI started today.
Proteas from this will be looking forward to give a positive start to the tour, on the other side Indians will be looking forward for some good performances from their young Guns for future prospects.As They now they are being tested under completely different and seriously serious circumstances. They have to get better off, of the likes of Dale steyn, Wayne Parnell, Paul Harris and other South Africans and Abhishek Nair showed the skill too, by posting a century. But still this is only a practice match.
But Guess what next; it’s about 3 days to go now for the big clash between the champs, playing head to head first at Nagpur and then at Kolkata, for what the number 1 slot in test rankings, As India will be on the defending side.
Of course INDIA is on a back foot, after its 3 important players including “The WALL” are out of the first test, due to their respective injuries still the confidence is on higher side after they beat Bangladesh comprehensively 2-0.
And this is what can be predicted by the latest comments in the media as:-
Harbhajn said- India has the resource to cope with the absence of Rahul Dravid, Yuvraj Singh and S. Sreesanth.
Very rightly said bhajji, keep the confidence boosting up but you are the one to lead from the front, of course the spin department, which played the crucial role in getting India victory last time around at Kanpur, when the match was wrapped up to victory in just three days.
Graeme Smith said: - India will start the forthcoming test series as FAVOURITES but South Africa is good enough to dethrone them and regain the world number one tag.
