Tillakaratne Dilshan has been named as Sri Lanka captain until the end of the year.

Tillakaratne Dilshan has been named as Sri Lanka captain in all formats until the end of the
year. This means he will stay in charge for the three-Test home series
against Australia and at least the first two Tests of the South Africa
tour that kicks off in December.

Tillakaratne Dilshan has been in a mixed form in the series played till now but did not look out of touch and has lead the side well and even scored century against Australia and has been in good form both with bat as well as with the ball.

He has also been named in the Champions League T-20 Squad for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
