Gayle's ton powers Thunder to a massive win in the BBL
Chris Gayle made a powerful 100 and remained unbeaten till the end & broked his own record of hitting maximum no of sixes in an 20-20 match the last was 8 and today he hit 11 of them in the end.
Adelaide Strikers downfall started in the very beginning when they began their batting. Openers Kligner & Harris failed to give a start and wickets kept falling one after the other. Blizzard and Borgas batted and scored a bit the only saving grace in batting was Botha who made 41 of 33 as the Strikers reached 155 in 20 overs.
Chris Gayle came out to open the batting this time not with Warner but with new captain Smith. Gayle was in mood of playing till the end and at the start he was very watchful and rotated the strikes with ease with few good hits to the fence. Slowly he opened up and started going for the shots. He was hitting the boundaries with ease and whacking Sixers in almost every over.

Chris Gayle's best shot was straight down the ground where he hit maximum number of Sixes the the Adelaide Stadium. Gayle saw his partner fall one after the other but he was in no mood to stop. He kept scoring from one end and his partners too scored but fell in quick successions. Floros gave company to Gayle in the end and Gayle reached his 100 leaving the Strikers clueless.
