RCB will tame the Chargers like a Matador does.
------- THIS CREW TRAVELS WITH THE TEAM TO BRING YOU RCB TIDBITS OF IPL 2011----------------
Daniel Vettori was gung ho about the RCBian spirit. “We’re looking forward to the next game, fans,” said the dapper looking skipper on his way out of the team hotel. Dan’s wife and two kids (boy (James) of roughly 3 and half years and a 6-9 month old little girl) fly with him to provide inspiration.
Anyway, Ray Jennings too was his normal self after having put a lot of thought into the SWOT analysis leading to the next game against the Deccan Chargers. “Keep the faith,” said the chief coach who has commanded an immeasurable amount of respect from his team and the Management over the last few years.
Saurabh Tiwary exclaimed “Support Maadi (lend your support). This is the time RCB needs you fans to stand by it.” Anyway, the team left by an afternoon flight to Hyderabad (co-incidentally both their Kochi leg and Hyderabad sojourn flights have been at exactly the same time!) This time the team didn’t leave for the airport too soon but made it a comfortable time to be able to seamlessly check in and avoid waiting time.
In the evening, there was a function of ‘Meet and Greet the players’ hosted by Royal Challenge whiskey where all the players obliged by posing for group photographs with about 150 people in a sequence of 15 photographs.
They will have a light practice session on Thursday (this time the schedule does not permit too much time) and will also have a gym training session followed by a possible swim session. The match starts late today!
They’re not perturbed with the conclusion of match against the Mumbai Indians two days ago. To delve too much into it would only take away their focus from today's game. Well, RCBians, just you wait and watch. Your High Flyers are going to rock Hyderabad! Tune in for the game. Come to the ground if you’re in Hyderabad! Or Watch them on TV!
