Mind Boggling Royal Challengers Bangalore Scorches Pune Warriors

The match was being played at home against the Pune Warriors and it was time for some action. RCB was rising after achieving victories and Pune Warriors was low in morale after back to back defeats.

Chris Gayle and Dilshan opened the innings as RCB was batting first. Dilshan was looking good but was unfortunately gone for 15. In came Virat Kohli who joined Gayle. Gayle bombarded away 49 runs in just 26 balls with four 4's and four 6's. His knock was yet again sensational. Carting away the Pune Warriors bowlers for huge sixes leaving the captain Yuvraj clueless. Virat Kohli at the other end was enjoying and was having a runs feast. With high on confidence from previous game Virat was yet again in roaring form. He played a magical knock of 67 runs blitz in just 42 balls with four 4's and four 6's. The Pune Warriors bowlers were in pain after being carted by Kohli and Gayle. Adding fuel to the fire Tiwary gave a icing on the cake with finishing touches scoring 14 in just 8 balls with 1 four and a mammoth Six. Kaif got his first chance and did play his short part scoring a boundary without wasting any balls and the Royal Challengers Bangalore finished at 181 runs in 20 overs.

He was looking dangerous for more but the young hero J.Syed Mohammad got him out with a tricky ball. Paine and Pandey did not last too long and had a short stay at the crease scoring just 8 and 19 runs respectively. They felt the heat of the bowling by RCB. Captain Yuvraj was looking to fire from all cylinders and he managed to do so to some extent trying to cause damage by scoring 41 runs in just 23 balls, but as the pressure rose he got out by clever bowling from Zaheer Khan.Robin hit a few, looking to help the Pune Warriors something to cheer about, bit thigns fell too short and as Gayle spun Manhas off, Pune Warriors lost it all.
