An experience of a lifetime - my first ever audition and that too in front of Rahul Dravid. Boy I still can't stop smiling
Blogging is my passion and to have made it to the final 21 at the FFC 3 seems no less than a dream to me . I was honored to be judged by such esteemed panel of judges and more so in the company of such talented co-contestants.
I have never auditioned for anything in my life before and to have come this far makes me so much more confident . Though my loyalties stood divided between RCB & KKR throughout all the three editions IPL, these auditions showed me that it's about time my focus shifts to the shades of red and gold.
Never in my dreams had I thought I would go to Bangalore for some 10 hours to have a time of my life; that's why when I reached Bangalore I was still pinching myself. Ouch! . My first interaction was with Disha Shetty, the Chief Blogger for RCB. I liked her and loved the way she handled criticism. I was not at all surprised when she won for I liked her work and loved her attitude
At Chinnaswamy I met almost all 20 of my competitors and was overwhelmed by the talent around me. I still remember texting my friend "God, these people are so damn talented"
After my challenge got done with came my moment where i'd meet Dravid and Uthappa. As my personal interview drew nearer I could feel my hands freeze but once I went in, all the frost went away and I did okay. Rahul sir was just so amazing . He made me feel so comfortable
After all the thoroughfare , came my moment of glory . Even though I did not make the final cut to South Africa, when Rahul Sir told me he liked my poetry, I felt nothing less than a winner myself .
Thank you FFC 3 for giving me such wonderful moments
Glad that you made it to the top 7. The moment I saw your application, I knew it had the spark that deserved more attention and votes. Dear friend and fellow Fanatic Satwik Roy, even came out with a post in support of your candidature and it is really pleasing to see that the wishes really came true for you. Hope you write more and evolve more on the RCB fan club!
