My opinion:Its Dravid again in clt20:)
Some facts that need to be analysed for dravid's presence in wc2011...
Hi Friends good to see you people after Royal send off:)
1)Well there are more and more discussions about Dravid's batting position in clt20 which is going to be held in South Africa.
2)There are some doubts being raised about his presence in world cup2011.
There are some fans saying that his age is gone and he should retire and the same odi team should go for world cup.
But what i will say is he should open in the clt20 with kallis and then he should be included for the worldcup.There are many reasons to justify that.
First of all lets discuss about champions league:
The south african pitches are bouncy pitches so we need some experienced players to handle those bouncy balls.
If we open with kallis and pandey then it's pretty known that dravid will be at no 7 and then it is better not to play with dravid.But he showed us that he was the best in bouncy pitches and continues to be.
He was also one of the reasons for making RCB into final in IPL2009.
If we open with dravid and kallis then kallis will play the supporting role and dravid will play some aggressive part and it will be very halpful for robin,taylor and white to build the innings.
If this combination works out then 180 is confirm and we can defend it comfortably.
Even if dravid or kallis gets out then we have kohli for the backup.One thing we should note is Dravid has to prove the selectors that he is fit for odi.
I think the selectors will make the final decision about the world cup squad after clt20.specially they will look for dravid,kohli and harbajan too..
Next looking into the squad for the world cup first you have to think about the current squad which you will find some hole and there is only one person to fill that hole and that is none other than dravid.
Then the middle order of our team is in complete out of form and if we go for worldcup with this team then it is sure that we are going to lose with some mokka team.
This man Rohit sharma will play only for DC and not for our country and the same case for ojha.Kohli seems to be next option for dravid but dravid will always go ahead with his experience and then look the squad with dravid it will always rokz.
sachin,gambhir,sehwag,dhoni,yuvraj,raina playing major role and dravid giving them company.But it seems a test for dravid which he needs to prove it.They are thinking that he is unfit for odi format but he deserves that because still he has lot to offer in odi for india.
How many chances for kohli,rohit,yuvarj and karthik.we are asking just one chance for dravid and if it is not then its unfair. Everytime dhoni is going with this team for some ICC events and the same poor short ball handling and we are losing.This is what happened last two T20wc.
Now you can say that the seventh batsmen should be jadeja and not our wall.See how jadeja got out in SL series then you will say he is even unfit for gully cricket.
HERE IS THE RESULT:IF HE PERFORMS WELL IN CLT20 THEN DEFINITELY HE WILL BE IN THE TEAM OTHERWISE IT'S UNFAIR TO SPEAK ABOUT IT.

Wanting Dravid in the ODI team says nothing about one's patriotism.
i would still like to see the best playing 11 on the field.
And seriously for the people critical of Jadeja. He has given an all-rounder option that we so search for. Even if he's not upto the mark yet, he's a great prospect and anyone who can bat and bowl is definitely more than handy!

Not impossible, but I'd say that the selectors will be looking for younger blood and the players for the coming years. This rules out Dravid.
and shud be in the final Xl of WC2010.
