Pujara earns call up for England ODIs
Cheteshwar Pujara has rightly earned his ODI spot for the 1st time in his cricket career. It is going to be exciting to watch him play at ODI level.
Cheteshwar Pujara has arrived in the One Day International arena and he is here to prove his mark. After some brilliant performances in recent Test series against England and most importantly his quick-fire 203 in just 231 balls at the Ranji Trophy match against Madhya Pradesh, he has been awarded by the Indian selectors to play at ODI level for Team India.
Team India’s batting has dipped no doubt but after all this is cricket. Ups and Downs happens as it was good to see Team India winning the last ODI against Pakistan because our our bowling which was considered as our weak point, as Cheteshwar Pujara has been injected at this stage in the team he can come up and perform at his best and this might boost up the confidence of others as well and team India can once again be back on winning ways.
Even after performing well at the Ranji Trophy, Zaheer Khan was not selected in the team.
The rest of the team for the 1st 3 ODI’s remained unchanged from the side that played against Pakistan as Sehwag was dropped and Cheteshwar Pujara had been included in his place.
